Dean McDaniels |
|
Dean McDaniels knew he wanted to play bass when he went to a parking
lot dance, in Jr. High, to watch his sisters' boyfriend play guitar.
That Christmas, after much begging, he got his first bass. A Fender Jazz
copy from Sears.
Early bass influences were Jeff Johnson of Tryx, Geddy
Lee of Rush, and Steve Harris of Iron Maiden.
Previous bands include Legacy,
Tourist, Random, and Prowler.
Dean is known more as a performer or entertainer
rather than an accomplished musician. His onstage antics and between
song messages are more legendary
than any bass riff he might accidentally pull off. Over the years he
has gone from " the only one brave enough to sing in front of strangers" to " the
guy with the El Camino to haul all the stuff" to " the guy
who owns all the equipment" to his present title of "well I
guess he keeps things interesting!"
Dean would like to thank his family, friends, and all the musicians
he's worked with, for putting up with him. He would also like to apologize
to all those people he has offended in the past, and all those he will
offend in the future. "Just havin' fun guys!"
